“Because the pictures on the left will always remind me of the person I was a year ago...that person who struggled to even walk a certain distance, go up the stairs without being out of breath, ate without self control, and didn't workout. The picture on the right represents the person I am now- the person who is focused on meeting a challenge head on! I still have a long way to go, but being 55+ pounds lighter than what I weighed a year ago, is a huge accomplishment! The bigger victory however, is knowing I was capable of a half marathon row, and finishing it!
I am forever grateful to be a part of this amazing CrossFit community at CFWP. Little by little I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and believing in myself, even when it’s not easy. Shout out to my CrossFit bestie for encouraging me to do this!”
Brenda has been with CrossFit Wash Park since September 2018 and it has been amazing to watch her progress over such a short time! Keep it up, Brenda! We are so inspired by your hard work!
“...I ran the race with a smile on face all 26 miles and had a great time doing it. In the end I finished with 3:05, a Boston qualifying time, which for me is just fine!
I wanted to say thank you for all the years of training, not just physically, but mentally. I don’t think I’d be able to run the way I am now without you and all the coaches at CFWP pushing me and everyone there to ignore the pain and push on. So to you and all the coaches at CFWP, thank you!!
Brian is one of our original athletes and has been at CFWP since 2012! He continues to put in the work and keeps crushing new goals!
"I just had to share some really exciting news on my fitness adventure. For the last 10 years or so hot Power yoga has been my sport of choice. I haven't went recently and did yesterday. Much to my surprise I was able to do so many things I could not do before due to increased fitness from CrossFit! I was able to hold dolphin pose due to practicing our tripod and gymnastics movements. Also was feeling super strong in my chattaranga flow!
What an amazing feeling and documentation of my steady progress at CrossFit! Truly is a workout to help you be a better athlete in other areas of your life!"
Joy has been an athlete at CrossFit Wash park since May, 2018.
"The community at CFWP is inclusive, challenging, and the work you will put in will be transforming. CrossFit has given me confidence in my ability to work hard, which has improved every aspect of my life. What you can expect from the community at CFWP is a group of coaches who care about who you are, your goals, and will challenge you to be the best you can be."
Kelsey was a student athlete in college and started CrossFit when looking for a way to stay fit as a grown up! She puts in hard work everyday to be the best she can be, and has (obviously!) seen incredible results from her dedication! Kelsey is a powerhouse of an athlete who's perserverance is inspiring to everyone around her!
"Ethan is one of the most honest, hardworking, coaches I have ever trained with. His commitment to building a welcoming community and fit and durable athletes, is something rare. Anybody that wants a challenging and safe workout, should visit Crossfit Wash Park."
Garrett has been with us since the summer of 2016. He played soccer as a goalkeeper at the University of Pennsylvania in Philly (D1) where he learned some Olympic lifting during the off season. After college he started riding mountain bikes and running a lot and since then has done a bunch of 7 day mountain bike stage races locally, in Canada and in France! Before coming to Denver, he dropped in at a couple of CrossFit gyms in San Francisco, but it wasn't till CFWP that he realized he found his home; the coaching was bar none, the community and people were supportive, and so he's committed to working out 2-3 days a week since starting at CFWP! He has participated in a couple of local comps and can't wait until the next opportunity to throw down!
“At CrossFit Wash Park, Ethan has managed to create an incredible environment that challenges every athlete at any level to be their best selves. The community, coaches, programming, and equipment, all promote an environment for the success of each member of the gym from the "OGs" to the first-timers and drop in athletes.
