HYROX Training Camp at CrossFit Wash Park

Train with purpose. Build confidence.

Show up ready.

Whether you're registered for HYROX or want to train with a race benchmark, this 8-week camp is designed to help you improve endurance, pacing, strength, and confidence across HYROX movements. You’ll learn your own baselines, understand sustainable effort, and build a better sense of how to pace for training and race day.

Open to both CrossFit Wash Park members and non-members.

Camp includes:

  • Weekly coached Saturday HYROX sessions (1 session/week) beginning 6/20 (no class 7/4)

  • Homework programming during the week (1 session/week, completed independently at CFWP any time we are open)

  • Coaching on HYROX movements, pacing, transitions, and race strategy

  • Opportunities to learn your baselines and identify strengths and weaknesses across common HYROX efforts

  • Practice managing effort and finding sustainable pacing for longer workouts

  • Progressive build toward a full HYROX simulation

  • Final Saturday (8/15): HYROX Simulation Day

What You’ll Work On

You’ll work on things like:

  • Running strategy and pacing

  • Learning your baselines for key movements and efforts

  • Understanding when to push and when to hold back

  • SkiErg, Row, Sled Push/Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Wall Balls, and carries

  • Race flow and transitions

  • Strength, endurance, and work capacity specific to HYROX demands

CFWP athlete Kyle performing a sled push. Movements like this challenge strength, pacing, and work capacity in HYROX.

CFWP athlete LuLu on the SkiErg. Movements like this test endurance, pacing, and efficiency in HYROX.

HYROX rewards athletes who understand pacing as much as fitness. This camp will help you learn where your strengths are, where you lose time, and how to approach race efforts more strategically.
