Sarah Salvitti

Part time Coach

I started CrossFit in 2016, and at the time I had never touched a barbell or done a pull-up. Even though I played sports in high school, I definitely had what you'd call a runner's body. I quickly fell in love with CrossFit because of its constantly varied nature—there was always a new challenge and always something to improve. Since strength wasn't my strong suit, I dedicated a lot of time to refining my Olympic lifting technique and developed a passion for becoming better with the barbell.

After several years as a dedicated CrossFit athlete, I earned my CrossFit Level 1 with the goal of deepening my understanding of the methodology and, hopefully, coaching one day. That opportunity came when I joined CrossFit Wash Park, where I started coaching CrossFit Kids before transitioning to adult classes. I've now been coaching at CrossFit Wash Park for four years, and I've loved every second of it.

What makes this place so special is the incredible community. It's the best community I've ever been a part of, and it's an honor to coach alongside Ethan. I love working with everyone—from seasoned athletes chasing new PRs to seniors discovering just how capable they are. My biggest accomplishment has been introducing my parents and my brother to CrossFit and watching them become part of this amazing community.

My goal is for every athlete who walks into my class to feel welcomed, supported, and understood. I love getting to know each person's goals so I can help them achieve them. My favorite CrossFit movement is the squat clean, and a fun fact about me is that I met my husband right here at CrossFit Wash Park!
